Placing Your Order
Online orders may be placed through our web store 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
You may also contact Nikki via text (818) 524-9784 with your special requests or to place an order.
Desert Creations honors all credit cards including Master, Card, VISA, Discover, and American Express.
California residents will have a 9.5% sales tax added to the order.
Preparing Your Order
Please allow 10 days for us to prepare your order once your order has been placed.
All plants are shipped bare root unless description states otherwise. Soil, top dressing, and pots are not included. Leaves and flowers may shed during shipping but will grow back.
Shipping Your Order
A flat rate of $5.00 is charged per item and per order. Shipping for larger items will be invoiced to you separately as each plant differs in weight and size. Please expect an email by the Sunday evening after your order has been placed regarding your shipment costs. No orders will be sent out until shipment costs have been paid.
Shipping is calculated by weight and includes cost of postage and materials. Shipping charges may vary depending on it's destination.
Additional costs may be applied at the nurseries discretion such as unique specimens requiring special packaging and handling.
Orders are shipped the Monday of every week but you may contact us to schedule a specific delivery date. A tracking number will be provided once your item(s) is en-route.
Most plants will be received within 3 business days after being shipped. We are not responsible for delays with the USPS or UPS estimated delivery times. When ordering, please be aware of factors possibly affecting delivery timeframes such as seasonal weather conditions and holidays.
Receiving Your Order
Please ensure you are available to receive and promptly open your order once it arrives. The sooner you are able to pot your plant, the sooner it can acclimate and begin thriving in its new surroundings. If plants are left sealed in the box for prolonged periods after arrival, it will negatively affect their health and well-being.
Shipping Insurance
Insurance on all shipped items is at the discretion of the buyer. Please contact us to make arrangements for insurance prior to shipping. USPS priority mail only insures $50 of the package, if you are looking to increase insurance coverage on your order it will be an additional cost.
Return Policy and Claims
If you are not satisfied with your specimens, you have 24 hours to request a return via phone or email at info@desertcreations.net. Specimens must be returned within 5 business days. Once received you will receive a full refund less the cost of shipping.
Damage Policy
The risk of loss and title for all merchandise ordered via our web store, social media, or email shall pass to you when the merchandise is release to the shipping carrier.
If your order arrives damaged, you agree to comply with any and all timely actions needed to submit a claim with the shipping carrier used. Once your claim has been settled and refunded by the shipping carrier, the nursery will work to send out a new item if applicable.
