Text Box: Adenia volkensii 

This member of the Passifloraceae family was described by Hermann August Theodor Harms in 1895. It is found in Eastern Africa, growing in a well drained soil with some water and some sun. The flowers are crème colored. The rootstock can grow to five and a half centimeter in diameter, the plant can grow up to one and a half meter in height.
